Basilica di San Nicola / Basilica of St. Nicholas

Percorrendo la pittoresca Via delle Crociate, rumorosa e festante rigogliosa di bancarelle di frutta e verdura, il freschissimo pesce, i taralli, l'olio e il vino. Giungiamo alla Basilica, centro e cuore della città di Bari. Potremo ammirare i sontuosi arredi che ornano la grande Basilica e scenderemo in cripta dove sono custodite le reliquie del amatissimo San Nicola.
/ Walking along the picturesque Via delle Crociate, noisy and jubilant thriving with fruit and vegetable stalls, the freshest fish, taralli, oil and wine. We reach the Basilica, the center and heart of the city of Bari. We will be able to admire the sumptuous furnishings that adorn the great Basilica and we will go down to the crypt where the relics of the beloved San Nicola are kept.

La Muraglia / The ancient city walls

Lasciamo alle nostre spalle la Basilica per concederci una passeggiata vicino al mare percorrendo le antiche mura, dette a Bari, la Muraglia. Potremo quindi avere una visione di insieme non solo del centro storico ma anche della Bari moderna. / We leave the Basilica behind us to take a walk near the sea along the ancient walls, called Bari, the Wall. We will therefore be able to have an overview not only of the historic center but also of modern Bari.

Piazza del Ferrarese / Ferrarese Square

Dalla muraglia raggiungiamo in attimo Piazza Mercantile, la colonna degli infami la domina, ma anche vi sorge l'antico Palazzo del sedile, contigua è Piazza del Ferrarese, luogo di giuntura e collegamento naturale fra Bari vecchia e i quartieri moderni. Qui termina il nostro tour. / From the wall we reach Piazza Mercantile in an instant, the column of the infamous dominates it, but there is also the ancient Palazzo del Seat, adjoining is Piazza del Ferrarese, a junction and natural connection between old Bari and modern neighborhoods.
